The summer correspondence has been issued. As in other years, it went first to those it concerns, and is recorded here in part.

Little of what it contained needs restating. Dates were confirmed. Two matters left open in spring were settled. A short list of names was acknowledged, and a shorter one set aside until autumn. The rest is the ordinary business of a season: who will be where, what will be kept, what will not be repeated.

We publish this note for the same reason we publish the others. Not to explain, but to keep a record that a thing took place, and was attended to properly.

Correspondence for the autumn will follow in its own time.
